Shade tent for our one year old advice

Hello friends we are very excited to be sharing our favorite place with our little one she will be turning one years old and it is her birthday weekend aside from that I know how brutal the Mountain Sun can be and was wondering about shade tent placement I've seen all the families in the past with their shade tents in the back and I was wondering when we can set up our shade tent and if we need to take it down every night or we can leave it all four days of the festival any advice would be greatly appreciated

You can set up your shade tent every morning when the festival gates open. Those spots are highly valued and people typically line up for the tarp run each morning (see Tarp Run threads). Yes, you'll have to take it town every night and repeat the process each day.

  Shade tents, tarps, et al, are removed each night and wait in the same tarp-line each morning. The same race to the best spots happens every day.
