Hi everyone,  i need advice please. We are flying over and are in LA on 13 June. We were planning on flying into Montrose and catching the shuttle but there appears to be no direct flights on a Tuesday. Really???  Other option is to fly to Denver but that means we need a ride. Sorry, I know this isnt the ride forum, mostly I'm looking for advice on getting direct to Montrose. The airport website only has a winter flight schedule. Any idea? Thanks as always lovely Festivarians

Thanks both! Not great options after the long haul from Australia  as LA to Durango and grand junction all seem to be four hours plus via other cities?

Getting a direct flight into Montrose is best because the shuttle to Telluride is so convenient.

Frustrating because there is no summer flight schedule as yet.....oh well, will keep digging. We might need to fly into Dallas because they have direct flights. Oh why is the most beautiful place on earth so hard to get to?

According to Travelocity there are multiple flights with different stopping points.

Here's what I looked up for a one-way for two people:

Thanks so much Tom. Yes, they appeared to be only option. Frustrating because there was definitely a direct flight ( under ninety minutes) previously. I am going to wait a little longer and pray for a summer schedule! Or fly into US to Dallas.

My wife and I are driving up to Telluride from Denver on Wednesday morning. If you're flying in to Denver on Tuesday, you're welcome to stay at our house Tuesday night and ride up with us the next morning. That's probably too late for you, but you now have an option. ;-)
