Heartbroken over the loss of this incredible performer.  She was deeply loved and respected by anyone who ever saw her live or heard her music.  In tears.

Are there any recordings of this night in 2006? What a show!

One of the greatest pleasures of attending the Fest is to be introduced to new and often non-bluegrass acts.

Sharon Jones was such a HUGE surprise to me, but after seeing her in Telluride, I was lucky enough to be able to see her another couple of times.  What a PERFORMER!

And I would NOT have known about her had Planet Bluegrass not introduced me!  Thanks, PB!  And as always, I'm looking forward to many more years of your surprising line-ups!!!

On the way to TBF in 2015 a side trip was made to see TTB, Sharon Jones and Donovan Frankenreiter in Snowmass, on June 14th. Not my first time seeing her, but it was my last. RIP SJ

Unforgettable performance in Telluride. What a horrible year. So many talented folks have passed this year.
