Against the Days - yes, great call - totally agree.

Merely Avoiding - surprised this made your list. They played it live at the Warfield. Really enjoy that tune.

Merely Avoiding is in competition for my favorite song on the new album.  Love it.

After realizing I could probably choose a top five song list just off Five Interstates I decided I needed a tune off the new album, I'm really digging Merely Avoiding. And speaking of the Warfield I happen to be listening to this soundboard recording right now, top notch sounding acoustic GD, highly recommend!

This took me a long time and I changed my mind every over and over again ( see what I did there?)

But I just had a swim and as I did my laps I decided these were my favourites today

Windshield
No Idea
Forget Everything
The Four
In Control
Merely Avoiding ( ok I know that is six )

Cover
When I Get My Hands on You

Tomorrow I could make a completely different list and rate them as  equally wonderful

I love how much they make me go equal parts mush equal parts dance

The best band

Here's my list.  I couldn't pick 5, so I made it 10. Originals only, in no particular order:

Bring out your dead
I'd probably kill you
Hoxeyville
Against the Days
All four
Worried about the Weather
Windshield
Past my prime
Merely Avoiding
Reverend

Favorite Covers:
Working on a building
Atlantic City
Breadbox

God I love this band.  By the end of the year, I'll be up to 37 shows.  Love

I'm totally jealous. 37 shows...how great would that be. I've only seen them four times....but they changed my life.

Love your list. I'm having a great time getting to know the back catalogue. Just discovered Handguns. This weekend I'm putting Tuesday Letter on rotation. So good. God I love them too

For as far as you have to go to get to a show, 4 is excellent!  Add a couple more this summer!

You mean, like a virtual room, perhaps an Internet message board. Hmm, I wonder where that is?

Aargh!  Cheers
