Based on last year's experience, how was the Thursday morning arrival at River Bend? A large line and mad dash or a slow trickle? Does the family area fill quickly? My experience has been mostly at Meadow Park, where there is plenty of space. We are planning to arrive at 9am Thursday to set up for our group of three families, but should we arrive earlier to get into line?

I'm curious also.  We have always done on-site but are doing Riverbend this year with our 9-month-old, so I'm really hoping for a spot in the Family Area.

Just to chime in from Planet Bluegrass...

We ask that everyone arrive around 9am; no lines and no mad rush please. On our end, we will not be organizing any car lines or handing out line numbers.

From our website: A portion of the western-most edge of the River Bend Campground will be designated as 'family camping' with quiet evening hours.

We look forward to seeing everyone here soon!
