Dear Planet Bluegrass...

I've only attended 17 of these here Festivals, so I might not know much.  But I DO know greatness when I see it, and it was on full display this past weekend.

From the no-service-fee ticketing to the ever-present camping amenities, from the traditional events (Goddesses donning mustaches!) to the surprise parties (the Smokies in Run-a Muck), from the fabulous line-ups on stage and downtown, to the smiling volunteers saying "see ya next year - drive safe!" as we drove away, everything seemed to be just right. 

In fact, things were going so right that I started to LOOK for the bad parts.  When I finally found one, I exited the paper-less porta-potty to walk right smack into a guy walking around with new rolls of TP. 

It was truly a magical, care-free weekend.

But I can't shower all the accolades on just you folks.  The Festivarians are also responsible.  The people I met this year just added to that feeling.  Watching fellow veterans helping out the virgins is a sight I've never witnessed at any other fest.  The welcoming arms of the camps is just amazing.  The smiles and hugs as we left, vowing to return next year and every year just keep this fest the annual event in our lives is something I'll never forget.

So to all the volunteers, all the town business people, all the musicians (on stage and campside), all the Festivarians, and of course ESPECIALLY to Craig and ALL the crew, please know that your efforts are appreciated.

Thank you from me, everyone at Camp Mustache and ALL of us who proudly call ourselves "Festivarians"!

You and your minions have, once again, done an outstanding job of promoting my festivation and the festivation of others.  All of the staff were friendly, efficient, and (not counting Dustin) relatively attractive.  Thank you for keeping us from feeling like merely "customers with a concert ticket" and instead being part of the whole festivarian community.  And, as part of that community, please just consider me your own personal bartender.  Cheers to Festival!!  *insert Camp Run-A-Muck disclaimer here*

Can only endorse these sentiments 110%. How can i put this so it doesnt sound too soppy? In times of unbelievable stress and division, threats and violence across the world it is truly magical to spend four days together in friendship, love and joy. My friends in Australia keep asking why i go back and i try to explain - this is how life is meant to be. Thank you most sincerely, it was a wonderful week.

Recovering from the 30 hour drive, would also like to thank the folks at PB and all the wonderful people we met in TP for a great festival.. And believe me, there is nothing that them Aussies can teach Run a Muck about drinking!

PBG rocks!! Best organized festival I have ever had the pleasure of attending. If it wasn't for all your planning and hard work we wouldn't be so motivated and passionate about it!
