first timers at Telluride

This is our first telluride bluegrass festival.  We only plan to see Friday's lineup.  We have a camper van, and no camping tickets/reservations.  We figured we would wing it, and have a back up plan to park in a friend's driveway. 

Any ideas of where to camp on the fly or where there might be room?
