Hi
I'm available to roll into town on Monday afternoon and wondering if I can sleep in my tent in Warner field line Mon. and Tuesday nights before load in procedure on Wednesday Morn? Sorry, being a TBGF virgin, I cannot tell from the PB load in procedure guidelines. Also, if I did arrive there Monday afternoon, how far back in line would you imagine I would be? Thank you and sorry if this has been covered and if I asked it before, and folks responded...., I'm doubly apologetic!

No, you will not be allowed to sleep in your tent in line. If you are wanting to come in early, you may want to look into some FS campgrounds near by for those few days.

Sorry, I've never camped in Warner so I can't answer that one. I'm sure someone else will be along before too long, though.

Last year, we got in line at 8 on Wednesday and there were 15-20 folks ahead of us.  It seemed like a good place to be as there was a lot of real estate still available to us at that point.   Watch this:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m_pyFeIAu_U&feature=youtu.be

LAD-

There won't be anything preventing you from going in with your wagon from the start but I think a wagon will slow you down too much.  You can take your tarp and go in with that at 9.  Lay it out to claim your spot.  Then return with your wagon.  You will do fine getting there at 8.  No kidding.  I looked at my pictures from last year and at 8:30 there may have been 60 - 75 people in line.  Just to be safe try 7:30 but you definitely don't want to spend the night in line.  It's not like the daily tarp line for the festival.

The first 10 minutes is chaotic but it gradually settles down after that.  You can exchange your ticket for a wristband after your tent is up.  The Warner gatekeepers won't be checking for wristbands until Thursday.  Your Warner wristband will give you access to Warner, Town Park and the Festival.  Have a great time!

This post made me a little nervous about my plan.  I plan to arrive Wednesday evening.  There are two of us each having warmer field passes.  Will there be space to set up a  couple of tents and chairs or is arriving early a must to get any space at all? I would assume they don't sell more passes than there is space but, this post made it seem like there's a mad dash and long lines and limited space. Do I have to change plans?

They don't sell more tickets than there is space, but your choices for 2 tent sites may be limited.  It's a softball field, so the outfield is grass and the infield is dirt.  Everyone usually fits on the grassy area unless people are taking up lots of space for kitchen areas or shade structures.  You should be fine although you are arriving on the late side of things, and you will be getting cozy with your neighbors.  First, take a walk around, talk to the people you meet about what you need, scout out a space and put up your tents before hauling all your stuff in there.  You'll have a blast and the only real thing you have to be nervous about is finding yourself at Run-A-Muck at 1am facing off with Billy Beru and a jug of Crunchy Frog.
