Hi all,  Chicken and I are really excited and have begun to plan in earnest.  We're planning on taking a place in the rear/side area wherever parents are planning on sitting with their keeds (any suggestions?).  To that end we're planning on bringing the traditional sunshade, cooler, chairs, backpack, etc.  My question is this:  Is it OK to bring a small "radio flyer" style wagon to bring in our cooler (and toddler)?  If not, what other creative ways have people brought in their stuff??

Abso!

Parental Units should always consider two venues. Daddy and Mommy alternate the great run of the tarps each day to get a spot up near the front to relax and enjoy the favorite bands of the day (afterall, you can't be up there all the time!).

Also, if you make friends with neighbors, you could volunteer to bring in Freezy Drinks, sponsor a MoJito day or otherwise your specialty drink in trade for use of the tarp that they laid down. Jest remember, there is zero tolerance for GLASS, and other tings that arouse suspicipion. In otherwords, you have to repackage, or place 'sensitive' items under wrapped dirty diapers. haha!

There is a minor search for every bag of any kind. So long as you don't have glass, weapons or otherwise, you'll breeze right in!

Shouting out 'NO GLASS!" seems to help getting through security. Of course, walking backwards can also have its benefits!

Don't forget ear plugs for the youngin'(s)

After one day at FESTIVVVAAALLL!!! you'll get the hang of the field lay-out and it will be a breeze from there on. The wagon will not only be good for hauling gear on-site, but fun for the kiddo to take a ride later in the day as well. From the parental side... think of all the on-site beer/food runs you could make with a wagon!

(where on earth did I put that wagon?)

No prob.. We bring in our green " utility wagon."

Geez, Hope why haven't I ever thought of that while balancing the food back to "our place."  Thanks for the great idea!

Oh and if you are doing the tarp run, you should have one parent stay to the side with wagon while you do run, then come in after all the "runners" and first line wave..
