For all you Festivarians headed to Telluride "early" this year...
Ben Nichols (of Lucero) is playing at Club Red in Mountain Village on June 13th. His first solo album, Last Pale Light In The West (2009), is a concept album based on the book Blood Meridian. Pretty good stuff; I really enjoy it. Just wanted to pass that along for anyone who might be interested.
