hoping for a Thursday night Dusters nightgrass.

There you go again, Sugar. No way the Dusters play Thu night NG. I know you are hoping for it but the earliest they play a NG would be Friday night.

Well, their website has them listed from June 16th to June 19th. That could simply be a placeholder on their website, but I'm going to choose to believe that it means a Thursday nightgrass and a workshop either Friday or Saturday. Leftover Salmon makes more sense to me for a Friday nightgrass this year. Of course, this is all probably just wishful thinking so I don't have to miss any of Greensky's or Salmon's main stage sets.

I'm betting Salmon is on Thursday night NG.

I'm betting Salmon is on Thursday night NG.

The only reason I would see them being on Friday is because I'd imagine a fair amount of TBF's hardcore Greensky and Salmon fans will be at Red Rocks the following month for the Greensky/Salmon show. It makes it a little easier to decide to miss one or the other if you're going to see them at Red Rocks in four weeks.

I'm really only planning on two nights of nightgrass this year unless something magical gets announced. Obviously, I will be at The Dusters nightgrass and I can't miss The Lil Smokies first ever nightgrass! Hopefully they don't end up on the same night . . .

Me and the wife will be first timers this year.  Have 3 day passes, Mary I camping.  This fest has been on my bucket list for quite a while.  Will be making the roadie from TN, also first time to the real Mountains.  Sooo many great bands on the lineup.  Beyond pleased.  I think the only lingering question I have after hours spent in this forum is, How do I make sure that I don't miss out on the Nightgrass lottery???

By 3-day passes, do you actually mean 4-day passes or 3 single day passes? There are no 3-day passes to TBF and you can't camp in Mary E unless you have tickets to all four days.

Regarding Ryan Adams, I was there for the last debacle, and while I'm surprised to see him back after that, I'm looking forward to the set.  He's an amazing talent.  I've heard that in addition to the health problems he was having around that time, that he was drinking pretty heavily and that combined with the health issues made him difficult to sit through live for a few years.  I've also heard from numerous people who have seen him since then that he's clean and healthy and that his live shows are killing it these days.

It took me a couple of years before I could listen to Ryan Adams after that show, but I'm really looking forward to giving him another chance live.

It's looking like a really good lineup.  I'm a big fan of Houndmouth!

So with GSBG closing Friday night, I'm betting they will play Palm Saturday night. I know that's not much of a stretch/bet but I'm waiting for Hot Sugar to chime in that he feels it will be Thursday (for no other reason than just being Hot Sugar who whiffs on Nightgrass predictions).

Ha! One of my VERY favourite things on this forum is having Sugar predict the programming. Personally, i would love to have Sugar be the Festivarian rep in the PB office one year, helping to get the logistics in place. Come on Sugar

I am so excited by the line up and like everyone desperate to get into the Nightgrass lottery for Greensky. Man, that band has changed my life

See you all real soon Flower Wave Wave

De Temps Antan is an inspired choice.  Prepare for some stomping Quebecois good times.  And the Kruger Brothers bringing the chamber grass! Great to see the careful thought that went in to the booking.  Next year - Harry Manx

Ryan is one of my all time favorites and he was indeed difficult to see for a few years there. I saw him last April and it was great to see him loving life and loving performing again. I hope everyone gives him another chance!

Perfect lineup!  I really can't wait now!  Medal

Everyone is invited to Kamp DukTape during Ryan Adams' set.  We'll be holding a bake sale to raise money to help that poor kid get a haircut.    :sorry

Does that cut come with a set of combs?

Seriously Bevin, thanks for the laugh.  Thumbs Up

For Scubes......

In 2007 this pip squeek of a dobro player walked into Run-a-Muck and we put him to work dumping gray water from the kitchen sink and schucking oysters. I have followed every musical move that "kid" has made since.

9 years and 10 Fests later, Anders and the rest of the crew of GSBG have a closing set, and I for one could not be more proud, not only of GSBG, but the festivarian family that has continuously supported this band for the long haul.

On that "other matter"....
Redemption is at hand. Prepare to be blown away.  Thumbs Up
