Really excited to see Greensky closing out Friday night! That will be one hell of a ride. I'm also pleased to see that John will be around this year. The only problem I can see is that I'll have trouble getting away from the main stage to catch all of The Dusters' nightgrass show, because I'm pretty sold on all of the closers. Here's hoping for a Thursday night since the main stage usually lets out before nightgrass on Thursdays. Making people choose between The Dusters and Greensky or The Dusters and Salmon just seems cruel.

Oh my, that list list just goes on and on.  It read like;

"Oh, great, yeah, OH YEAH, DAMN, wait he can't pull all this out just on thursday, Oh, yes he can!, Oooh OOH YEAH!!"

And finally "Dang  this is gonna be fun!"

Where is Pokey on Sunday?

Woops... I fixed my original lineup post below. Pokey plays Sunday afternoon before the Stringdusters. Thanks for catching that! I can't wait for his set!

WTF!!!???!!!

Will the Marshall be standing by if Adams goes off again???

NOT JOKING HERE. Even if that boy is playing for free this round, I would like to know the arrangement made in advance, the guarantee, that ensures the Festivarian Nation will not be abused again from the stage.

He's a fine talent, but that's not the issue here.

Other than that one "glitch".....

Great lineup.

Umm, what is the back story?

Adams played Fest a few years ago.  Something (alcohol? drugs? killer flank steak?) was obviously affecting his performance.  It was sloppy at best (at times much worse).  I couldn't handle it and left with a lot of the crowd.  It was the only time I left the Fest because of a performance.

He had been a darling of the music critics, so I was looking forward to his appearance, and totally disappointed.  But the critics still love him, and his new CD is getting fabulous reviews so I'm more than willing to give him another shot.  We all have bad nights (me probably way more bad nights than Adams!) so I'm looking forward to a big redemption.

Hes not putting on a flippin show, hes giving you a piece of himself. That is true Art. Passion, expression no matter what or where it comes from is positive especially in these days of scripted behavior. Perhaps he does not fit the groove, which I can relate to..raw courage to express raw feelings. Most excellent. Medal

As usual, the festival looks incredible.

Pretty excited to see Dave and Gillian closing out Thursday night, plus Pokey LaFarge, Sara Watkins, Greensky, the Dusters, Punch Brothers and how could I not mention Del...stellar lineup this year, as usual, can't wait for nightgrass announcements.
