Howdy guys,

We all love safe rides to and from shows. My friends and I frequently use Bus 2 Show for rides from Denver/Boulder to Red Rocks etc. They are a non-profit that just want to keep people safe and having fun at concerts.

I have been in contact with them because they are considering doing same day roundtrips for Rockygrass this year. This is fantastic news to me because finding a sober driver for this long haul can be a challenge.

If interested, please reply and let me know. We need 4 more riders for Friday, 10 for Saturday, 10 for Sunday. It would pickup in Downtown Denver/Boulder early enough for fest start and again at the end of the fest to bring everyone home. It is always a good time with good tunes  Cheers.

Bus tickets are around $28 per person roundtrip. I truly hope this enables some folks to have a fun and safer time than they would have otherwise. We have until Sunday to round up some riders.

Cheers,

Ian

P.S. I wasn't sure if this post should be in Hitchin A Ride but I thought it deserved a bit more attention than it would get there. Also, I am in no way affiliated with these guys. Like I said, I just want us to be safe and have fun.

We are interested. We are going Friday and really dont want to have to drive. If there are still 2 slots available from Denver Laure and I will definitely be on board with filling them.

Nice! Oh yeah it is a yellow school bus. There are probably 20+ spots available.

Will the be adding the return trips for each day? Right now their site only has leaving Friday getting back Monday.

Yes, that is exactly what I have been discussing with them. The single day trips aren't on their website yet because they were concerned they may not cover the cost of the buses and wanted to wait and see what type of response we get. It takes 10 passengers to cover the cost of a bus.

Here is their website if anyone is interested: http://bustoshow.org/

There will not be any on-bus performances that they sometimes do. Just a speaker and a great bluegrass playlist  Wink

Sadly a low response rate and SCI at Red Rocks resulted in Bus To Show declining to provide day trips to and from the show. Sorry guys, I gave it my best shot.
