Hi we just found out that while I am settling up camp at Warner Field, my wifey has a Skype job interview wednesday morning. Any suggestions for a place in town that has a strong WiFi signal?
Thanks all!!!

 Cheers
Pete

Maybe someone with a condo could help out? Seems like that would be quiet. Unfortunately we don't get in until Wed afternoon or I would offer a spot in ours.

Otherwise I'd imagine the library might be a resource you could check on in advance re: wifi or computer access.

Good luck!

They have good connection at library.   They also have mini conference rooms she might be able to reserve.

just another of the many reasons you should support public libraries.

Very true.

Have also learned that leadership within special taxing districts such as libraries and schools can often become extremely insulated from popular will and oversight; whereby individuals are afforded great latitude to act unilaterally to propel their own agendas.

The old director of the library apparently convinced the board to close on Sundays as a cost saving measure (yet still had a bloated line item for "programming") amidst a huge public outcry.  The library is now open on Sundays under the new director.

I could also go on and on about the school expansion & how the current supernintendo is apparently flexing his muscle and has butted heads with the Town of Telluride Town Council re: intergovernmental agreements.  I'll be very interested to see if they actually do anything with the heavy equipment parked on the fields this week.

So yeah, definitely support your libraries, schools, and health care facilities ... which includes becoming informed and involved on important issues.  Regardless, the Telluride Library definitely rocks ... and encourage festivarians to take advantage of the facility.  Glad it looks like things will work out for your wife petefrane!

The telluride library is special. Did you know that the bond measure to fund it passed by 1 vote??  True story.

That's a cool library. A few years ago I paid a visit there, and the staff gave me a royal tour of the place. A nice place to relax, as long as you don't mind kids, charge your phone, IPad, load up e-books, check e-mail, etc...They are very welcoming to visitors. And, believe it or not, they even have real print books!
