What is the policy for tarp size?  It's been a couple of years since we've been to TBGF, and I recall seeing posts in the past regarding limiting of tarp sizes.  I'm packing now, and any info would be appreciated ..  Thanks!

Not sure there is a stated limit (just looked at the PB page and didn't see anything). I think as long as you're using what you need and are willing to share if it's empty, you're fine. Someone will surely correct me if I'm mistaken.  Cheers

Sounds like a good policy to me - thanks, Zack

There was a posted policy, but I can't remember what it was. It was never enforced anyway, so if PG removed it, that was smart. Bring the real estate you need and always feel good about sharing, has been been among the rules of the road...Such a great festival!

Let the fest begin!

With the "sit anywhere" fest rules, I don't think tarp size is much of a problem.  But I must say that the one that was plopped down in front of the rear right speaker every day was truly AMAZING.  You could play a World Cup match on that sucker.  More amazing is how someone could run with and throw a tarp that size!  It was GIGANTIC!

It's not how big the tarp is, it's what you do with it! Flower Flower

Totally agree with this, inuendo aside Wink  I don't care how big a tarp is, as long it's community property, which is always what I've seen.  How about one giant tarp like they have at baseball games, and make it open seating?  LOL this conversation always happens right after the fest
