Admitted Newbie here....

We will be coming into Telluride early Saturday morning for the festival.  Single Day and camping and Mary E. Ilium.. Where exactly should I expect parking when we get to town?  Do we park at a lot and shuttle to the campground or do we park at the campground?

Just want to know what to expect pulling into Telluride... Thanks!!

Go to the campground, get set up and the people there will tell you where to park.  Then head to the fest on the free buses, but bring your warm clothes along so you can stay there all day.  Running back to Illium will take at least an hour, an if you're only gonna be there one day you need to spend as much of it as possible at the fest.

But you might also want to check for extra Sunday tickets on the "Tickets to buy or sell" thread cuz once you're here, you're gonna want to squeeze in an extra day!

Unless I'm mistaken, you either need a four day pass or single day passes for all four days to camp at Illium. You may want to check up on that and consider camping at Lawson instead.

While that has been the case in the past, we changed that policy this year after Lawson Hill camping sold-out so early.

This year Mary E Ilium camping is available to anyone with a single-day ticket to the festival (as well as 4-day tickets, of course).

 Cheers
