What I always do is a phone line and the internet, that way if the web is slow you have got that phone line ringin'.

Ohhhh ok, how come?  Wave

It's too difficult to manage the limited quantity's in two places (particularly the high demand shows, YMSB, etc...). The online scenario is the great equilizer... and allows us to manage the inventory (and the demand) properly.

We did it that way last year, and even thought he website was slow at first, everything worked out. Hopefully, we'll have the same outcome this year. LOL

I am unsure as to what will be missed in lue of going to the nightgrass shows; are you not worried about missing some of the headliners, i.e. Sam Bush, House band?

I guess I would think that Yonder would be the Headliner on Saturday, but that I'm not sure of. If they are I wouldn't be to disappointed if I see them WED. and Friday. I'm def. not missing that EMmitt Nershi late night..

For friday, Leftover is headlining and I won't miss that show. So thats why I'm not to worried for the Yonder tix game that will be played on tuesday. Going to give it my best but if I dont score yonder late night I won't be to dissapointed.  Evil Cheers

Sam won't be a closer, so you'll be able to see his full set. Cheers

Thanks for the information sir, and all in general. Why is it that Mr. Bush doesn't close? I figured he'd be a lock for closer. This will, of course, be my first and I must be missing out on how they set up showtimes. Either way, thank goodness Yonder is doing Wednesday night (hopefully I score a ticket). So, what is your take Tom on the closers for each evening; if you are authorized to give away that expertise information that is?

Sam got tired of closing all the time and passed it on to the younger groups a few years ago. Plus, he tended to run his set past the time deadline put out by the town of Telluride. Wink

This is my thoughts on the closing acts and it's accuracy is not guaranteed.

edited to avoid confusion. :)

Wow, this has definately taken me off guard. I guess I would have taken Ryan Adams as Thursday night's closer for a certainty; you would think that his show would at least be suited for sometime after nightfall. I guess I am unaware of Uncle Earl's music. Leftover Salmon is the only closer I assumed that you have listed here. I need to look into the Duhks before the festival for sure. I guess in the long run it probably won't really matter who plays when, as long as they play, ha; my mind is doubtlessly going to be blown regardless come TBF time. Thanks again.

Actually, after second review and the fact that the bands are normally listed in reverse order when the daily list is released...

Thursday - Ryan Adams and the Cardinals
Friday - Leftover Salmon
Saturday - The Frames
Sunday - The Telluride House Band

I saw the email, but alas, it was too late.  I hold out hope that Weds holds a couple tickets in store.
