So, I think we have accepted that we will not be staying at either of the onsite campgrounds. We are debating between Mary E. Illium and Lawson Hill. We have stayed at both and are weighing the pros and cons of both. Any input would aide in the decision making process. Thanks so much!  Wave Cheers Flower

Keep up hope, we scored TP tickets two weeks before fest last year, and you can usually find them for sale when you get there. My advice is keep looking for TP or Warner and you may get lucky.

Right I know, but it's a lot for 6 people to find passes, throw down around $300 each and then try to sell their 4 days. We'll see...

This year is our 3rd year coming and it's one of the most magical experiences no matter where you camp.

Sooooooo.... back to the actual discussion topic Lawson (I know I see it is sold out, but I am sure it is not hard to find passes) or Mary E. (does it ever sell out)???

Lawson is closer and has shower trailers

Mary E. is more woodsy and natural, but is a longer shuttle ride and no shower, but opens on Saturday which is a plus.

Both have 2-7 quiet hours, but I feel it is more upheld at Lawson. (I have ear plugs for sleeping, but if I want to party I don't want anyone telling me to go to bed)

I usually pack for the day and night coming from both

Anyone have thoughts to add?

We camped at Mary E in 2013 (You actually brought us a Yonder ticket, then drove us to Mountain Village and then walked us most of the way to the Conference Center Auntie Hope, thank you much again!)

Last year we camped at Lawson

See you there Auntie Hope! We'll come hang out in Town Park before Thursday. Maybe we can pre-game for Yonder and I'll see you in the music meadow for sure!

Sarry,

Where did you decide to camp this year. We have a lady, Suzanne, coming from Sydney, Australia that is camping at Lawson.
