The fest-family has been shaken by the news that two of our own, Lara Miller and Lauren Geismar are currently stuck in Pokhara, Nepal. During this terrible time, I ask that you all keep these two ladies in your hearts and thoughts. Do whatever you do, pray, hold them in the light or send them good vibes, that they escape unharmed from the current situation after the earthquake that happened earlier today.

The area I was staying at in #kathmandu has been reduced to rubble. I have been in tears all night long. We are getting rocked by aftershocks, but the power is back on. They are out of drinking water in Kathmandu, so I need to stock up here as soon as daybreak arrives. I'm also going to the American citizen rally at noon down the street and I hope to get more info about evacuation. Apparently, numerous bridges our out on the one road to Kathmandu. I am going to volunteer if I'm stuck in country, but I selfishly want to get home as soon as possible. Lastly, I still can't get through to the embassy or my trekking guide and group. #nepalearthquake #nepal #heartisbroken
