I wonder if Lake Street Dive plans on playing two sets or if they'll be paired up with another artist. Has anyone seen one of their concerts? Are they generally a two set band or do they stick to one? I think adding Rhiannon Giddens to that bill would be fantastic.

Yonder generally does the Conference Center on Wednesday night and the Sheridan on Friday. I remember a few years ago, they took a night off and only did their mainstage show and the Wednesday night show. I wouldn't be surprised to see them do that again this year, although I hope they do all three shows. Jake and Allie are incredible and I'd love to see them at the SOH.

Greensky Bluegrass has the 18th on their website, yet they're playing the mainstage on Sunday the 21st. Either the 18th is just a place holder, or they'll be at The Palm on Thursday. My guess is the latter.

The lone Sunday nightgrass is almost always Punch brothers at the Sheridan, so I'd count on that.

With Lake Street Dive playing the SOH on Thursday, Greensky likely playing The Palm on Thursday, and Yonder likely playing the SOH on Friday, I doubt we'll get a Salmon nightgrass. It wouldn't make sense to me to put Salmon opposite Yonder for a nightgrass show and they are closing out the mainstage on Saturday.

SCR is a good bet for a Saturday night slot at the SOH or The Palm, but I'm guessing we'll have them at The Sheridan. That leaves the Palm open for Trampled. Though I wouldn't be surprised to see those two switch venues.

Then there's The Fly Me To The Moon. I'm guessing we'll see Mustered Courage and Trout Steak Revival there, but I have no idea which day each will play. I also think it likely that The McCrary Sisters will play there.

That leaves Friday night at the Palm. I think it could be Lau, it could be Peter Rowan, or if Rhiannon isn't on the bill with Lake Street Dive, I could easily see her in The Palm. Plenty of options.

That leaves us with:

Wednesday - Yonder at The Conference Center

Thursday - Lake Street Dive (possibly with Rhiannon Giddens) at the SOH
                  Greensky at the Palm

Friday - Yonder at the SOH
Possibly Rhiannon Giddons at The Palm

Saturday - SCR at the SOH
Trampled by Turtles at The Palm

Sunday - Punch Brothers at the SOH

That's my guess. I'm interested to see how wildly inaccurate it is (for instance, I really hope that I'm wrong about no Salmon). This was a fun way to waste an hour of work!

Lake Street Dive as a headliner typically plays 18 song set 90 to 110 mins and a two song encore.

The only night for a Salmon nightgrass would be Thursday, so it really depends on if GSBG will indeed be playing The Palm on Thursday. The only other option for them would be to play a Saturday night show, but with Thursday listed on their website, I think it's likely that's their night. Of course, they don't have Sunday listed and that's when they'll be on the mainstage, so it is possible Thursday is just a placeholder for the festival in general. If that's the case, I could see them playing either The Palm or The Sheridan on Saturday and a Salmon nightgrass at The Palm on Thursday.

While I am not going to TBF this year, I will bet the farm that Greensky plays the Palm on Friday night.

You're not coming this year? Who's going to help me make bad decisions?

I'm operating under the assumption that Yonder will be doing their usual Friday night SOH show and I'm hoping to see both that and a Greensky nightgrass, so I put them on Thursday more as wishful thinking than anything else.

Hey Sugar,
I've had a lifetime's experience making bad decisions, I'm sure I can help you out there,
Except I started coming to T-ride a couple years ago, maybe that trend of bad decisions is starting to change!

Well its April...our next thing to look forward to is the announcement of Night Grass and Tickets

Any leads out there?  I saw Lake Street Dive is Thursday at the Oprah House.

Oprah sold her house in Telluride quite a few years ago. The Sheridan Opera House is still going strong though!  LOL Rolleyes :vibes Concert

In that case, I'm going to update my prediction to include the FMTTM, just so it can be even more inaccurate. My FMTTM predictions, specifically the days, are completely random. No thought has gone into the days whatsoever. Where my Palm and SOH predictions are closer to a poker game (lots of luck but some serious thought to go with it), these are closer to a slot machine.

Wednesday - Yonder at The Conference Center

Thursday - Lake Street Dive (possibly with Rhiannon Giddens) at the SOH
                  Greensky at the Palm
Trout Steak Revival at The FMTTM

Friday - Yonder at the SOH
Possibly Rhiannon Giddons at The Palm
             McCrary Sisters at The FMTTM

Saturday - SCR at the SOH
Trampled by Turtles at The Palm
                 Mustered Courage at The FMTTM

Sunday - Punch Brothers at the SOH

I can't wait to see how incorrect I am!
