Beer Situation in the Festival Grounds

Look into offerings from Left Hand and Oskar Blues...both of Longmont, CO.

Love Tsingtao, it's one of the few lighter beers I enjoy. My light beers typically start at Newcastle Brown and Moose Drool (Big Sky from Missoula, MT- hat tip to HS) and go dark from there.  Thus, my love for assassin smooth Nitro Stout (Left Hand) and Ten Fidy (Oskar Blues) when you wanna dance with the dark dragon.

For Porter, IMO, if you don't like Deschutes Black Butte Porter, you don't like Porter.

If dark beers aren't your thing, disregard this completely.    If you're not sure, look me up at KampDuk Tape. We'll have samples...

Personally, I hope they stick to just one IPA. It seems that bars the world over have over half their taps dedicated to IPAs, which I think is a shame. There's more to beer than hops. Of course, so long as they have Summer Bliss, excuse me, Summer Helles, I'll be happy.

I think it would be nice to have a session IPA too though. It's good to have the taste of an IPA with less alcohol when you are drinking a lot for a long time.

Speaking of which - has anyone had the New Belgium Slow Ride Session IPA?  I haven't tried it yet, but re: sarry's post, I kind of hope for it as an option at TBF.

Actually, I will basically be happy if everyone's opinions so far are catered to; I like variety, and usually go for the summery brews NB offers at Fest like Hot Sugar does.

I think the only explanation is that when one is making a tarp into a sign and is using duk tape to spell the letters out, the letter "K" is way easier to inscribe with a roll of sticky stuff than a curved letter like a "C"

And yes, I just completely made that up...

You mean Bayern Mai Boch? Great beer. I've got a six pack in my fridge right now. I'll go pick up a case to bring down for you. It's only around for a short time, so I always make sure to drink a ton of it when I can.

Great! I thought it didn't come out until May (Mai) but I knew it wasn't around too long.
I keep getting Ayinger and Bayern mixed up because both of the original German breweries brew the Mai Bock.
