Since it's been a slow day...

I've noticed that Bonnaroo sometimes books the same bluegrass acts that show up in Telluride a week later.  Check it out:  http://consequenceofsound.net/2015/01/bonnaroo-announces-2015-lineup-as-it-happens/

It looks like they have almost the entire Basement Tapes lineup (minus Elvis Costello), and a lot of people we're going to see already - Rhiannon Giddens, Punch Brothers, Trampled and Bela and Abigail.

Anybody else on that lineup that you guys could see joining us in the box canyon?  What do you think?

Wow
Mumford and Sons
My Morning Jacket
Robert Plant
I would say it would be safe to speculate
that any or all could show up at Telluride.
Only being a skip jump and a hop away the
weekend before.
I am psyched to hear this info!!!!
Please Planet give me some Robert Plant LOL LOL LOL

Have never been to any of these festivals, and it doesn't necessarily have anything to do with the TBF, but just saw this today and thought of this thread.

Sturgill Simpson is so damn good. Glad to see he is getting the
exposure. If you don't have his album, you would be doing yourself
a favor to acquire. It's country but so much more. I would love to
see Sturgill at TBF.

+1 for Sturgill Simpson. Both of his albums are great and he's great.

For a different take on the the first two songs from Metamodern Sounds and to show what a great guitar player he is.

Imagine that. He doesn't need his band to play his songs.  Cheers

Yep +1 on Sturgill Simpson. Bought Friday and Sunday for the Avett Brothers at Red Rocks and was feeling pretty excited. Then, I listened to Sturgill Simpson after the purchase and kicked myself for not buying Saturday also. While not a big country fan, except what I see at TBF, I see Sturgill Simpson live in my 2015 concert calendar.

I'm voting for The Decemberists, myself.

And let's hope The War On Drugs never comes to Telluride.  Oh, wait... That's a band?   Wink
