I feel kind of crazy... Usually we begin looking at lodging options about this time of year and this year it seems like nothing is available already; we like a condo or home near the festival--we are all capable of walking but since we have a two yr old, prefer is not a huge hike. Is this possible as a by product of the fest's increasing popularity?? Or do people not post listings until later in the year? Since we do ever other year, we don't have the option of a rent-before-you-leave booking as I know a lot of companies offer.

No worries- You'll find a place. They're still sweeping up from this year's party. What a thing it was!

Hi Zack! Lotsof lodging opens up closer to fest time. I think it is a 6 week cancellation so 6 weeks before Fest, start your calls to Tride Lodging. Let them know you are serious by calling them often and get to know their names so they remember you.

We got set up with a place; paid a little more than we'd hoped (seems like prices have increased with demand ... unfortunate but likely, I guess) but got the location that we wanted.

Seems crazy to put a payment on something that costs so much when there's no guarantee of grabbing tickets. Yikes. Oh well - it's the gamble we roll for the best fest there is.

See everyone next summer one way or another!

Yep easy hua? Too much fuss about fest. It is fun and easy if your approach is planned and paired down.
