Any fly fisher-people bringing rods to RG? If so, let me know. It would be fun to link up and go give the fish some grief in the AM before the festivities begin.

I have a buddy bringing his and he might want to join you.

E-mail me at:  rhipidistian@yahoo.com with your contact info and I'll have him give you a buzz when we're down there.  Arriving early tomorrow evening (Thur), staying in Meadow Park.

I'll be there with my gear and definitely looking to get out! Would be fun to get a group together. Hit me up if you're interested!

Hey there. Last year I tried this and figured I'd organize those interested after arriving at RG. I didn't execute on that plan very well. I think this year I'll invite those interested to stop by my campground, shake hands, have a beer, pick a tune (if you play), and participate in some good ol' fashioned face-to-face planning. Clearly, there are complex subjects to discuss, such as where to meet and at what time!

Thanks for responding and let's give some of those St. Vrain fish some grief!

More to come. Stay tuned.

BTW...I lost the lottery so currently I do not have tickets for onsite camping. I'm confident that I'll score what I need on Craigslist sooner or later but if you know anyone with an extra ticket or two, please let me know!

Food for thought, guys...

You might want to consider heading up to Estes Park/ Big Thompson River one morning instead of fishing the property.

The fish get pretty spooky around festival.

Not saying there aren't fish to catch, but an early morning trip to Big Thompson would likely prove more fruitful and could still have you back for the tarp run!!

Cheers

Sage advice, Dustin. Moraine Park is pretty awesome at that time of year. Thumbs Up
