Packing list
If camping:
Tent
Air mattress/sleeping bag
Heavy blanket (it gets cold at night)
Pillow
Flat sheet ( this helps in case sand/dirt gets tracked into the tent and can be shaken out on a daily basis)
Bath towel
Beach towel for river
Lantern for tent
Flashlight/Headlamp
Stove and table optional
Camping cups/plates/forks/knifes (disposable is a no-no) cutting board/one small knife
Trash bags/antibacterial wipes/paper towels
Small bucket for dishes if you plan on cooking
I use a big Rubbermaid tubs to hold blankets/food/towels and these can also be used for tables
Chair for campsite
Chair for festival
Pop up for campsite in case it rains
Cooler for campsite (best trick—Take a plastic gallon jug of water, dump out a little and freeze the whole thing. Keeps the cooler cold all weekend and you can drink the water as it melts
Smaller cooler to bring into festival
Sunscreen/Bug repellant
Toothbrush/tooth paste
Toiletry crap especially chapstick
3 tarps (two for festival-one for ground and one in case it rains and one to put over the campsite crap)
Frisbee, football, anything that glows
Hat/swimsuit/clothes for the day and warmer clothes for night/Rain jacket
Clothespins/clamps to hang stuff up, keeps towels attached to chairs
Money
Oh yeah…..booze. Duh.
