I understand we're all a bit hypersensitive around here to anything that may even hint at harshing the mellow, but an observation on the mercury doesn't equate to complaining nor detract from how lucky I feel to be above ground any day.

Skubes is on point. When I talk about the weather forecast in Telluride or previous years' inclement weather, it's not coming from a place of negativity. I simply can't wait until I leave for CO (106 1/2 hours from now) and the thought is consuming my mind. Discussing weather in Telluride is just one more safety valve via which my mind can let out a bit of the pressure that becomes unbearable this time of year.

Willie Nelson's set in 99 was probably the wettest that I have ever been in Town Park. Must have rained two inches just during his set, up to my calves in mud that night, then it dried out and left big craters in the dancing area for the next days.
