According to accuweather it will be sunny but only a high of about maybe 60 the days of the festival. Very cold at night, maybe snow....

I like to joke about how as soon as it finally gets warm in Ohio (last snow storm April 14th, now 80, no spring, I like to purposely go sleep outside in 30 degree weather.

You will enjoy sleeping in Colorado. Cold and crisp that mountain air, yes sir. But then again, this is Colorado and that could all change by Friday. Stay tuned and bring the fridge (everything)! Snow, rain, cold and hot. That about covers the forecast! Flower

I was so cold last year I felt wet and could not sleep. As soon as the sun came I had to jump out of the tent and rip off most of my layers.  I was kinda cranky because of it. Much better tent and sleeping bags this year and a heater for our party tent!!!

Sleep naked except for a hat and socks and you stay warmer Flower

If there are no clouds, as often happens, at Telluride's altitude, 65 feels like 90. If it actually hits 80, and it might, we'll all cook. And no matter, festivation happens whatever the weather.

For the times I've been there, never heard anyone complain about it being too hot or too sunny! There's a few nice cold streams around that will cool folks down.

Uhhh, I'll be the first. Two years ago it felt like a furnace everyday.  We had 90 on our camp thermometer.  Gimme 70s all week!

Last year was perfect. I didn't go in '12, but I want to say '11 was cold & rainy a good deal of the time. Was '11 the year everyone woke up to a winter wonderland on Monday?

Average Telluride temp June 15th: 70.
Average Telluride temp June 23rd: 73.

Interesting that the average temp heats up 3 degrees over the 10 or so days we're typically there.

However I do recall it snowed on Sunday night a few years ago, and we woke up with snow on our tent.

You all complain too much. Think of how blessed you are to be out there in Telluride, with great friends, great music, and incredible scenery. We have had snow, rain, cold, wind, heat, whatever, but we make do. I was there in 99, it rained almost every day, we made it through. Too hot? Take a tube ride down the San Miguel. Or find the beer tent. Remember the old joke about a bad day fishing is better than a day at work? When was the last bad day you had at Telluride?
