What is his live show like? I've been checking out his music and I am a fan of his work with Traffic and I really like his newer stuff (About Time & Nine Lives). His more pop numbers are OK, but I really dig that more jazzy sound and I figure it would be an entirely different line up of musicians depending on the style he plays. Anyone got the lowdown?

Great musicians back him up.  His most recent set lists include quite a few Traffic numbers including Low Spark and his solo stuff like Higher Love.

Here's a set list from December:
Secrets
I'm a Man (The Spencer Davis Group song)
Can't Find My Way Home (Blind Faith song)
Dirty City
Low Spark of High Heeled Boys (Traffic song)
Higher Love
Dear Mr. Fantasy (Traffic song)
Gimme Some Lovin'  (The Spencer Davis Group song)

Every time I've seen him, he has had a large TV monitor on the stage, obviously loaded with lyrics.  It's funny to me cuz he's HAD to have sung those songs hundreds and hundreds of times.  You'd think by now he might remember the words!  I guess better safe than sorry!

Any chance you remember Jackson Browne's lyric troubles last year? Maybe it's the elevation...Glad to know SW's got the monitor!
