Are kerosene heaters allowed in the campgrounds? I want to keep one under our easy up at night time.  huh

Im almost positive they are allowed in Mary E. since they allow propane grills ect :burn

I'm camping at Lawson Hill. What about there? I looked all over the site and read the camping handbook. Didn't see them as prohibited nor allowed it items.

I would imagine they're allowed in Lawson. Several camps, including Run a Muck, use propane heaters in Town Park.

I think it's about "open flame." 

If it has an open flame, don't bring it.  If it's enclosed, like many patio heaters, then it's probably good to go.  Many folks use propane patio heaters in the campgrounds.   I'd recommend propane over kerosene since you can't spill the propane.
