Hey Ferg--

Pleading to you from the center of the Polar Vortex here in Minneapolis; apparently Mother Nature is partying with Old man Winter and passed out!  -11 this morning and it's almost March!!!

Sweet, I've got a flight to Minneapolis tonight from Boulder.

That said, after seeing Sam Bush play with Greensky this past weekend I highly recommend they fit these two on a bill together.

Dave Rawlings just announced a show in Boulder on June 18th and they have open dates until the following Tuesday.  What a great treat it would be to see Gillian and Dave with Willie Watson and John Paul Jones.  Cheers!

Excellent! Does this mean John Paul Jones will be making an appearance this year? I've been waiting for him to play Telluride since Robert Plant mentioned it's been a dream of John's for years.

 Now, about those Stringdusters?

That's too bad. I was really hoping they'd be back again, but the lineup thus far is still killer and I'm sure it will just get better. Telluride never fails to amaze me.

If you look over in that other thread about heading to the 19th.. you will see that I won this one on the 17th!  When do I claim my prize?

Waaay back in July I suggested Nicki Bluhm and the Gramblers and now they're booked.  Do I get like a pass or sumpin'?

Seriously, if you liked 18 South a few years back, you are going to flip over Nicki!
