Hi everyone --

Does anyone know where I can find/buy an AJ Masthay Limited Edition poster? I'm in dire need of the one he did for the 2013 festival and would love to get my hands on one before Christmas :)

Thanks!!!

Those sold out in just a few hours at the festival. The only way you could find one is if someone decided to sell theirs.

My first suggestion would  be eBay,my 2nd suggestion
Is what you did, post a request on the forum.
I'm still kicking myself for not purchasing one. When I went through
The line they had a healthy stack. Ive got friends who have their entire
Basement covered in event posters. It would have
Been a good one to acquire. Good luck!

The Masthay Studio has 3 printers proofs available but due to thier rarity and being the only three left they are $250 each.

I'm not sure which one you are talking about, but I found a signed and framed print in a shop in Woodstock NY. Fate, I think so :)

This was the first year I made it in the country store before they sold out. In fact, until this year, I didn't know they had limited editions. This was a good year to pick one up, especially because I really didn't like the official poster from the 40th.

Not a fan of the official, either.  It looks sloppy and kinda makes me feel like a voyeur.

Wish I hadn't seen the limited edition...now I know what I'm missing!  Frown

I only got in early enough because of my cane. I couldn't stand in line due to my leg injury this past summer, so the guy working the front door let me in. Sometimes being a gimp pays off!

It was the first year I'd done it, so your timing was perfect.

Well, if you have them this year, I'll probably be skipping out on it. As much as I love the one I've got, I'm not one to stand in line for a few hours and miss all that music for a poster. Even if it is a really cool poster.

I never quite understood the appeal of "limited edition" posters ... after all, it's the same image regardless if there's #156 out of #250 printed in the corner.  Why not offer as many prints as those who are seeking them as a memorabilia item vs. "an investment" with perceived added value?
