It's hard to believe it's been almost 14 years since this pairing of 2 of our favorite multi-instrumentalists, singers, songwriters, all-around inspiring musicians shared the TBF stage for a set of duets.

Sure, at least one of them has played on the TBF stage nearly every year since (and nearly every year prior!).  But something extra-magical happens when these 2 get together with a truckload of fiddles, guitars, mandolins, bouzoukis, dobros, pianos, and an ace repertoire of songs.

We're thrilled to welcome back for the 41st Telluride Bluegrass...

Tim O'Brien & Darrell Scott

(Their latest collaboration, which was nominated for a Grammy, should be on your holiday wishlist...  Wink )

This is what I've been waiting for! The song they played together in 2011 wasn't enough for me. Now that we know Darrell is going to be there, how about we throw him some additional sets? After all, he is the best songwriter in the world today (in my opinion at least). Tim and Darrell, Darrell Scott Band, Darrell Scott solo, Songwriting workshops, tweeners, guests whatever. Just as long as we get lots of Darrell!

And who could possibly wait for the holidays for this CD.  Somehow it got stuck in my CD player weeks ago and just won't come out!!  I think I have that player trained.

I can never get too close or hear him loud enough. So much to say and so little time. His songs have message. They sound so good together. Salt of the earth. All that good sound from two guys.... Medal
