Fall in love with life - every day!

Hey now Festivarian friends...summer is coming to a close, but it is still festival season.  Hope to see many of you in Pagosa this year...and, more importantly, I hope to see many of you in Flagstaff, AZ September 14 - 16 for our second annual Pickin' in the Pines Bluegrass and Acoustic Music Festival.  Lara, Dwayne and I have been helping to organize this year's festival, and we're really psyched to see a lot of our festivarian friends come support it.  Weekend passes are only $60, and a camping pass is $15.  There's no fee for vehicle passes!  We've got a stellar line up including David Grisman Bluegrass Experience, Kruger Brothers, Chatham County Line, Sweet Sunny South, Boulder Acoustic Society and many more.  The venue is amazing - brand new and state-of-the-art.  And, the camping is a short walk or shuttle ride to the amphitheater.  The tiki bar will be set up in the campground, and we'll be celebrating Dwayne's birthday with a big potluck dinner on Saturday evening.   Cheers Bands should check out our contest - $1,000 first prize!  Visit our web site www.pickininthepines.org for more info, or you can send me an email directly if you have questions.   Looking forward to seeing you in Pagosa... and, hopin' to see you here in my home town too:)   Wave

In Peace,
Michelle

Michelle,
You're not the only one lookin' forward to PiP.  I'm planning on coming out with the Squash Blossom Boys.  They're in the band contest.  But FIRST, we'll see you in Pagosa!  I'm psyched!
Love,

This year, slim to none, but next year could work.  Good luck with all the organizing details.

Nice to see your toes,

Hi, all--

I'm so excited that I have to toot my own horn! :hop :hop

If you want to hear some of the music from the festival, I've got just the thing for you. (Drumroll, please!)

My first podcast is now online at http://www.flgnews.com/ !! Yay!

In case you haven't heard, podcasts are basically radio shows made to listen to on your computer or a portable mp3 player, like an iPod. I was invited to put one together, and decided the first one should be about Pickin' in the Pines. So go take a listen, and let me know what you think.

thanks!
dwayne

Hi. I just stumbled on this site looking for something just like this to do this month. I will try to be there. I live in Tucson, maybe 5 hours away.

Thanks!

Nice to see your faces and good luck on Pickin in the pines.

I've informed Dad that this is the Flagstaff party of the season, just without the oysters.
He just might show up and buy you a cold frosty beverage.

Have a blast guys, I'll be racing rubber ducks that Saturday.
