Awesome year. For me: Bela Fleck - Abbey Road in particular Infamous Stringdusters - ridiculous! Too good. Steve Martin and the Steeps - fiddle player killed it! Sam Bush Band Lake Street Dive -pleasant surprise for me House Band - goes without saying! Can't wait to see you all next year. Listening to: Tears streaming down my face now that I have left

Salmon on the main stage was by far my highlight of this year, however, I think that may be because my Telluride hippie make-a-wish came true and I got to experience Telluride from the poser pit!!! AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Otherwise, did anyone get to check out the Gipsy Moon show at Fly me to the Moon on Sunday night???? WOW!!!! Gipsy Moon with Andy Hall, Andy Thorn, Vince Herman, Wally Ingram, and a really good fiddle player that I saw picking in Town Park (???)!! THAT was an amazing show!!!!!! LOVED Hot Rize and as always, Sammy! Also the Salmon show at the Floradora!!!!! What a great Telluride, I'm already thinking about the possibilities of next year!!!!

HOT RIZE! I'm thrilled they're writing new stuff! Stringdusters Emmylou and Rodney Crowell (I'm a puddle anytime she sings Wheels and then...) The monks are awesome. I love the mindfulness and joy they bring. Telluride would not be it without Jerry, Bela and Sam's presence on that stage. All their sets were great and the house band super fun. Honorable mention: Natalie McMaster continues to amaze. Thanks to the Planet for introducing me to her all those years ago. Elephant Revival Greensky Thank you Craig and the other Planet People who work so hard to bring such an incredible experience year after year. This was our 20th consecutive year and you never, ever disappoint. We love you. Listening to: the dusters set on main stage

I think I should have no other mortal wants, if I could always have plenty of music. It seems to infuse strength into my limbs and ideas into my brain. Life seems to go on without effort, when I am filled with music.

Stringdusters Sam Greensky Sarah Jarosz Elephant Revival House Band And how about Natalie MacMaster and Donnell Leahy (and their little 7-yr old) - I saw more people stopping what they were doing and just getting caught up with their set - and the roar that went up at the end of their set was awesome! What a great week! Now to get some rest and start planning for next year ...... Listening to: The rain outside my window .....
