I'm staying at a friend's house in T-Ride proper and am wondering how I go about getting a parking permit or a permit to enter the downtown area? Any ideas?

Thanks, friends!

Only residents have access to Town Parking passes.

Ask your friends to look into it.

Thanks. He told me that they buy a parking permit for the whole year, but didn't know how it worked during Bluegrass. What do people do who rent places in town for BG? Does the city issue permits if you can prove you are staying there?
Thanks!

The individual lodging companies are issued passes. They almost always limit them to one per room.

I believe it's parks & rec that your friends should call, but someone at town hall could certainly point them in the right direction.

Just received my "Telluride Barricade Pass 2013" from my condo owner.  Had to ask about it.  Supposedly it's the only way non-residents can drive into town. EEK!
