Is there a schedule of events for the pre-fest week this year (2013)??  I don't want to be late for any fun.

Forgive me if this is already posted somewhere, but I was unable to find it.

I think the word is enough people from the big camps were shut out of TP this year that Tom's forgone the official itinerary, and is just planning on playing it by ear. Really disappointed by that, but I bet those who aren't in TP are more disappointed, and I totally get how the logistics are likely a burden on Tom.  Either way will still be the best couple of weeks of the year for me!

Either way, are there any meetups in town or at festival? I would love to meet some Forum folks but am staying in a condo so won't have camping privileges!

We have a festivarian photo shoot every year, but not sure when that will be yet. If you get in to town earlier in the week, we always have Rumballs on Wednesday and I believe there is a homebrew tasting also on Wednesday at noon right next to the town park bathrooms. Basically, come into to Town Park and follow the noise and people and you'll find us.

Sugar, the only TP activities I plan around each year are the homebrew session (behind the tables - got some real treats this year!), the Dead set and when Tom busts out the projector. Hopefully I can find someone early on and be in TP when the last two are going down. What days have they been done in the past?

This is a completely false statement.  The big camps were definitely NOT shut out this year.

Oh man, yeah scratch everything I said. I found the thread I was pulling this info from, but it was from last year.  Maybe we'll still get an official schedule then? I have no idea, obviously.  EEK!

I've been waiting all year for the frog! I believe, under the codes and definitions agreed upon at the Geneva Convention, withholding frog for a full year constitutes torture. Or was it the use of crunchy frog? either way I'm ready to follow wherever the frog my lead!

Last I heard, Cascadia was planning for their "biggest Telluride ever!" I don't know any specifics, though.

They are being very covert on their plans.  My spy network has detected very little activity.

It's my understanding that the reason it won't be posted is because too many "non-festivarians" were coming to the events, eating all the food, drinking all the booze, asking for more, and not contributing. I think there will be things posted in TP so look for event announcements there when you arrive. For sure the Goddess Walkabout is on Sunday, on Monday a.m. Debbie is doing Bloody Mary's, and beyond that, I just don't know.  These events are supposed to be for festivarians, so if you are here for festival, then by all means come to TP because I'm sure you'll find SOMETHING fun to do! I think they are just trying to not advertise it quite as publicly as before.
