Last years Los late night was the highlight of the fest for me. Why, after getting sci and Los in the same box canyon at the same time, would they deprive us of the best possible late night line ups?

I find it hilarious that any of you feel deprived at this year's lineup. I know many who would love your tickets! Just saying...

I don't think it's an issue of crying while having a loaf of bread under each arm, rather the recognition of a really grand opportunity which was lost.

Exactly..let there be songs to fill the air.

FOM (and others),

Many of you have been disappointed that SCI is not playing a NightGrass set and it kind of seems from some posts that there is a belief that Cheese wanted to play a NightGrass but were prevented. I could be misreading but I get this vibe that some of you folks are disappointed and that there are people outside the band responsible for this decision.

Do you folks know if this is the case? I would think the band would also have a say -for example, maybe SCI didn't want to play a NightGrass show?!?

Just want to get an explanation as to what you guys think went down. thanks!

I can't see Vince turnin down a late night slot is all. I figured it would snowball into a party with Andy , drew and whoever from sci wanted to throw down. Seems like something billy would have been into. Or an emmitt nershi show. Just made sense to me. But I would love to know what really happened...?

When it comes down to it, I'm psyched cheese will be playing on the main stage & also glad to see salmon there too ... just saying a nightgrass gig(s) would've been really groovy additional gravy ... which is somewhat rare to come around these parts, at least for my particular tastes.   But ultimately it really doesn't matter why it didn't occur ... it is what it is.  I was mostly just expressing what would've made for an unforgettable overall line-up of music from my perspective.

Billy,  I think we won't have any problem seeing the boys picking. And I know just where to look for them, hee hee!  Vinnie, Andy, Billy, I'm sure will all be picking together somewhere, just might not be an "official" event.   Cheers  see you soon BB!

Pretty sure this is just a rumor.  Production are not informed of any such rumors of this happening.

Reasonably certain you are spot on, but wishful thinking is what it is; I wouldn't mind a SCI late night and was kind of surprised that one was not announced with the others.

Perhaps the boys just want to be guests instead of hosts; boastload of opportunities there too...

excellent video! I just love Doc, and can remember him and Merle and T. Michael up there on that stage in TP playing those songs we love! Miss them, I bet they're pickin' up there in God's festival grounds right now!

can't blame folks for wanting to go on all the rides ... hoping their favorite bands would play late night or show up somewhere ...

some of us were hoping for a late night polka set, but ya can't always get what ya want ...

this year's line-up is packed full of great music !  we won't be wanderin' thirsty in the rain :)

Vince told me LoS is just looking to spend more time with their familys. Said he's gonna be sitting in with his son's band though
