Hi, I'm Jeff Thomas, and I run a section of the Rocky Mountain News and Denver Post called YourHub.com. I'm writing a story about how the festivals changed the town of Lyons, and maybe how the town of Lyons changed the festivals, and am soliciting stories from whomever wants to write something. Could be as basic as the best performance you've ever seen at the Lyons festivals, or perhaps something more zany.
I, of course won't take anything off this board unless someone tells me they would like me to consider it for publication. We're a citizen journalism project so if you want you can also post it on YourHub.com. I'm hoping that most of the stories will end up on the Longmont hub.
I thought twice about posting here, so I apologize if anyone takes offense.
Thanks,
jeff
