I'm hoping for a Pert Near workshop or Firstgrass. Since they won't be playing the main stage and I'll be at the Dusters Friday night, I'd love to get to see them at some point that week.

Speaking of the Dusters on Friday night, how is the Palm for a show....good place to boogie, good sound, do they sell beer?

I also have tickets for that show.  I saw them on New Year's this year and they were fantastic.  In fact they did a few numbers with Lake Street that night that brought the house down.  Here's hoping Rachel makes an appearance at that show!

The Palm has plenty of room to boogie or to go sit down and take a breather. It also has a balcony if you wish to sit through the entire show. I don't know about the beer, but they do sell liquor. I'd imagine they'd have some beer as well.

If I remember correctly, they have 4 or 5 kinds of New Belgium beer.....

OMG!   Davein, thanks for the link.  I was hoping for Trampled By Turtles tickets this year, but I am super happy that I got Lake Street Dive on Saturday, and Infamous Stringdusters on Friday night.  The thought that I could get to see them together like this on Friday?!?!  Seriously?!?!  This just totally made my day.

Calm down AZ..there's no guarantees of those two bands sharing a stage, but they will both be in town. The sit-ins are one of the things that make festivals great.

The Dusters generally put on a fantastic show.  Lake St often has a more jazzy sound, but they can bring some excitement as well.  Different bands, but both good in their own unique ways.

I'm not sure if anyone mentioned this but I have my fingers crossed for a Del/Sam set at Elks Park. Now they are a touring act I was sure we'd see em' somewhere in the TBF line up. However, they are at Rockygrass...

Firstgrass is in Mountain Village Wednesday evening.  It's free-just ride the Gondola almost to the top (also free).  Bring a cooler.

First grass isn't in the Conference Center. It's in the middle of mountain village outdoors. The audience sits on a big hill and looks down at the stage. There isn't a bad seat anywhere. So for that, yes, bring a cooler. For Yonder's Kick Off Party, you will be buying your drinks from the CC. They're held in two separate locations.

And don't forget to bring cash. I stood in line at the Bar (in the CC)and ordered up and boom, they did not accept my Credit Card. The guy next to me bought my round. Sweet folks in Tride. Thank you again. We all just want to have some fun.... bring cash and yes there is an ATM near by. Has it changed anyone? I missed it last year.
