Any news on the book?  Will it be available at the fest?

Aint gonna happen this year....

We put a good strong couple of shoulders into it (Steve and Brian), but decided we weren't sure we'd be satisfied and decided to apply all we have to the actual show.

Book will follow and will include the 40th.

Still time for you to write a compelling anecdote on this very tough to describe reunion, communion, bacon feastin whatever it isl

Personally, I think it will be better if it includes the 40th. This year's fest can be the culmination of said book (which will need a sequel, of course). It will be especially cool if there is a 40th DVD to go with it!

I'm very excited for this!  I would like to request that it be one of those 3D kids fold-out books of the entire festival grounds where the stage, the vendors, and the porta-pots pop up when you open the page!

It also needs to play some Sam Bush or something when it's opened.  And make corn dogs.

That's one book Hooch would actually read! Especially if it had several strips of bacon hidden in between some of the pages. I'm starting to like this book more and more!

Great idea, Hot Sugar!  I wonder if they can make the book "Scratch and Sniff"?

Seriously, a pop-up, scratch and sniff festival book could be a big seller.....just as long as you dont make the potties one of the scratch and sniffs....

Let me get this straight.  You want a scratch and sniff page of a porta potty on Sun 1 min after Vince Herman has vacated?  There might be a niche market out there for something like this. Thumbs Up

It's great idea. I never take pictures myself because I made up my mind long ago my pictures just do not capture the real deal

So I  Store them up in my heart and head. I just do not know how to take a great picture.

Nice to know how much effort and thought goes into it even if it takes FOREVERRRRRRRRRR!!! LOL Flower Flower

Ya know what would be cool a TBF CD for each year. To capture the lineup and crowd reaction. You could set up your lawn chair in December, slather on some sunscreen and rain gear, pop a cold one at 9AM and just fest out...... LOL

I'd buy it!  I already do that with my Sam Bush Peaks of Telluride CD.
