interesting terms/conditions

4. I understand that these concert wristbands must be picked up at the festival box office on Saturday, June 22 between 1pm - 9pm, and that will-call pickup will not be available at the Sheridan.

6. I agree that I will not sell any NightGrass tickets for more than face value. I understand that if I violate this agreement I will be liable to Planet Bluegrass for the amount the resale price exceeds the original purchase price.

would have cost some folks a pretty penny last year, given what I heard some people paid for some of their nightgrass tickets.

It will be very difficult to enforce #6, but hopefully it works as a deterrent.

Yeah and with everybody having to be present, I doubt someone will get their wristband on and then say 'Ha ha! I paid $50 for the ticket you b@st@rd!!  You owe them $15!"

Looks to me like you're hiking to Palm all three nights?  Cheers

I relish the thought of all the scalpers cursing and kicking their cats after reading the terms and conditions.

Wait wait wait? I thought The String Cheese Incident AND Leftover Salmon were playing the 40th this year?  EEK! How is it that not even a "Drew and Friends" or "Billy Nershi and Friends" gets planned with 2 of the biggest jamgrass touring acts playing the festival?  huh  huh  huh  huh  huh  huh

I love Telluride as much as the next person, but it sure seems the Nightgrass options are poorly thought out and disappointing this year...  Mad

PB gives SCI a 2nd to last slot at the Festival proper, no headlining slot, and absolutely ZERO Nightgrass love!??!?? WHAT GIVES PB???  Frown  Frown  Frown

well ferg or dusty wrote in a post over a month ago neither los or sci would be getting a late night so old news but anyway i think its nice they are switching it up a bit and giving some other folks a night gig. hopefully drew and vince will be sitting in on a bunch of them. but 2 yonder shows is a bit much unless they get a bunch of guests up in that sheridan show.
can sci even come up with enough material for just their mainstage "oldskool" set? without repeating themselves on the grassy stuff a late night would probably turn into an untzy rave no doubt.

I'm no festival scholar, but Yonder seems to play the festival opener and a NightGrass Sheridan show almost every year.. that can't surprise anyone.  I like it -- they always bring it for those shows.

I'm new to Telluride Bluegrass Festival this year. You can only request up to two tickets for the lottery. There are 3 people in my group so how does that work if two of us get tickets and one doesn't?? So either we take a chance that one one person is left by themselves or not try at all. It seems they should let you ask for up to four. Anyone have any ideas about this? We really want to go but it be shitty for one person to end up left out.

Such is life my friend, sometimes you win and sometimes you just party at your campsite.  These venues are small, if they did let us request 4 tickets it would seriously cut down on the amount of people who could win.  If all three of you are going to be there then everyone can enter and just take your chances.  Good luck to you and your friends!
