Newbie mandolin player (still...) practicing (sort of...) and thinking this is the year I'm ready to play some mando in a Town Park jam (I'll be near the entrance/exit so as to not offend too much).

What are some tunes you recommend I start practicing so I can join in some jams? (yep, my mando chop is somewhat working)

Thanks for any advice!  Cheers

Free Bir...no wait, Wagon Wheel fersure. UR always welcome to actually stop by, back in the dark recesses of the P-area and jam with us hicksters. It's tough to break into the "Big-time" of the RaM stage. (esp after the frog sees you EEK! )

p.s. could you be available to break barley with me 4/18? I'll be hangin' SFO-style that afternoon/eve. Looking for some music to see, and some advice would be much appreciated!
