I am not so quick to jump on the ban wagon here. Do you really think a women that has been around the block as many times as MS would say that with much thought behind it? Lets not crusify like the Dixie Chicks. I hate that  kind of mentality. Lunch mobish to me. What she said does not even make any sense if you think about it . God and hate  One bad spew does not make an entire carier. Everyone on the Planet spews she just happened to do it in front of hundreds. Give her a break. Stop the Lynce Mob mentality.

Tride is an open oppertunity to explore through music. Perhaps we should open our hearts to her. When folks talk about hate, they are the ones in need. Group Hug of 10,000

And my next question would be, could she be struggeling with some identity issues herself? Stay open artist change in front of us through the years and do we really expect then to remain unchanged, unaffected. Its that very reason we love them, they evolve with time and us and it is a cummulitve experience. Good and bad. I still love Bela even if I have not really understood where his head is at as of lately

Maybe I'm naive, but after re-reading accounts of what she had said and also her open letter released yesterday, I'm now perhaps more inclined to believe that she was simply a bad communicator and possibly just being cynical.   I can't say for sure, but at the least I am much more hesitant to jump on the bandwagon.

Wow, thanks for the incredible negative energy and buzz kill. Is that something you cook up on a daily basis? Maybe you should give up your tickets if you can't get into the Festivarian spirit.  If you decide to be a decent human being and attend, I'll be the 6foot 5 man in front of you dancing his ass off, owning your tarp, and hopefully blocking your view.  Except during M&S and Dispatch, I may let you have access to your tarp during those sets, but probably not.

Thanks, that's an interesting listen to say the least.

One thing is for sure, she has diarrhea of the mouth - let along being very difficult to follow.  Maybe it's simply my own difficulty communicating verbally sometimes that I'm giving here the benefit of the doubt in terms of whether or not she was "paraphrasing" (for others beliefs).   When it's all said and done, it's not for me to judge ... and only she knows what lies in her heart.

she is a professional musician with her own story to tell, i dont understand why she would claim she was going on a rant about other people's beliefs. i mean when i listened to the entire audio it seems to me that she either a) really felt that although she doesnt believe that god hates fags, she is completely against gay and lesbian marriage/lifestyle or b) she seriously does have an identity crisis and hasnt gotten over it
