It has been hard work getting the tickets but 1h 45 minutes later I have 2 regular priced tickets so they are still available on the official shop page.
Now just got to sort out the flights from the UK and the accomodation........ :)

Just finished getting my tickets (with email confirmation from PBG) at the $195 price.  So in the end I'm happy, even though the process was quite frustrating.  10 minutes ago there were still tickets ..... See you in June

Admittedly this makes me nervous.  Purchased mine more than an hour ago and still no confirmation email.

Maybe we should just have Planet Bluegrass team up with Ticketmaster...KIDDING!  LOL

But I too was very frustrated that this happened, it is unfortunate that holiday prices sold out... BUT WHAT IS $15 PEOPLE?!?!?! This is seriously the greatest festival I have ever been to, and could probably be the best ran festival in the whole world. Just try and focus on how lucky we are that we even get to experience this festival with each other, and for Planet Bluegrass putting it on. I am pretty much a newbie, and started coming to this fest when the Mumford craze happend, so maybe I am over stepping boundaries. But the site seems to be working fine now. Just keep calm if you have your tickets, getting mad doesnt do anything but make it more stressful for you. Keep on Rocking in the Free World, Festivarians!  Cheers

What furnal said.  I'm going to see phish for New Years, they use ticketmaster.  I was on and typed my captcha within 10 seconds of the on sale. (I used the atomic clock)  nothing.  20,000 tickets sold out in 10 seconds....and even if I were lucky enough to get tickets they would have charged me a 25% fee for the privilege.

TBF tickets are relatively stress free and I think PB does a fantastic job.  High demand events are in high demand, so you can't just claim tickets.  Sometimes it takes a little bit of patience....yeeeaahhhhhhawww just a little patience.....I'VE BEEN WALKING THE STREETS AT NIGHT, JUST TRYING TO GET IT RIGHT.....but I digress.  LOL

To those nervous about their confirmation emails--

My confirmation e-mail took about 40 minutes to arrive.

You can log in to your Planet account and click "My Account".

It should tell you if your order went through and the charge is pending.

I also have a hold on my credit card for confirmation, as well.

Good luck!

Yes the process may be extremely frustrating, but with all this demand and very little supply, it's amazing that they put up the Holiday Priced tickets at all!  But I think it's because they respect the tradition of giving SOME people a chance to save the equivalent of 2 flank steak sammiches!

2 flank steak sammiches!
That's what it comes down to. I remember selling an extra Greensky SOH under face and being really happy to be able to eat the next day. $15 doesn't seem like much but one of our crew turns 13 this year so it's getting increasingly expensive. Eating matters!

I would gladly eat 2 flank steak sandwiches right now.

There has got to be a better way.  That was a painful 50 minutes only to be shut out.
I gave up. I couldn't even get the regular price tickets. Guess I'll start to think about alternate plans in June.

This has changed now, right?!?!?  The $195s seem to working better now?

OK, Swander. I finally got through. Trying to do this from the office wasn't my best plan, but I'm trying to save an extra day off for FESTIIIIIIVAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLL!

I feel better now.
