So many wonderful suggestions.. I would also recommend Hot Tuna, Stringcheese, Mark Knopfler and Railroad Earth. I actually discovered sCI and RRE at previous TBFs.

I'd be all in for a super secret guest for the 40th with no previous announcement.
Nobody would know until they announced on stage that day..... Eric Clapton! Thumbs Up

Oh heck....keep the whole lineup secret, and let us reverse engineer it from what we can find on the Internet.   It'll keep us entertained until we pick up the programs that week.

And the official program would be a 16 page bound book of blank pages, issued with crayons so you could fill it in as the concerts progress.

Paul Simon!!!

His sound is so perfect for Telluride and he's on a roll right now. That tour he did last year was killer. I think the folks at Planet Bluegrass should really consider him as one of the big headliners this year.  Thumbs Up

While I'm pretty sure the show is already pretty set in terms of "big headliners" (I don't know for sure, I guess), I totally agree that a Paul Simon announcement would be the best Christmas present ever.
