I agree with the comments about something other than more acoustic string music, especially for the tweeners. A couple years ago, I had prepared a tweener set of latin and salsa music from all around the Caribbean, and I sent the cd and discography to Brian. I didn't get any response. The thought was to play it after Jerry's set on Saturday afternoon, just when everyone is starting to ramp up for Yonder. The working title was "Telluride Goes South of the Border" or "Telluride Goes to the Beach". You know - sun baking down, everyone's hot and sweaty, reaching for another beer. I listened intently to what was playing in that tweener slot this year, and it was basically very quiet, background music, string stuff. I think we could do better with the tweener music, and switching up the style would be a good way to go. Listening to: Big Bottom
