What is the party line on saving camp space on Warner for friends who will be coming later in the day?

Our group has everything planned out - sharing shade tent, cooking gear & food duties.  But due to unforeseen circumstances, car 2 cannot start their drive until much later in the day on Wed.  It would be a pain to have to camp on opposite sides of the field.  Can we lay down tarps for them, or is that frowned upon? Or even bring/pitch their tents along with ours?

And if we roll in around 3pm on Wed, will there still be room for 3 tents to be set up adjacent to one another?

Tarps are as good as sold when staking out space, so you'll be fine there.  And from my very limited experience, there's always squeezing room!
