Hey y'all,

Just wanted to let everyone know that Spring Creek will be back for a big throwdown at the Gold Hill Inn this Friday night starting at 9 pm.  I know a bunch of you are already coming, cuz you told me, but thought I'd spread the word to those aren't already in the know.

Steve Smith  & Hard Road will be opening up (this band contains members of the Alan Munde Gazette--for you bluegrass genealogists out there) and there will be some special guests sitting in with Spring Creek, including David Richey from the Billy Pilgrims.

The band has had tons of exciting news recently, including some press in national bluegrass publications and a nomination in the Independent Music Awards best Americana song category.  Check out http://www.springcreekbluegrassband.com (designed by our very own Mary Pat!) or http://www.myspace.com/269205489 (with photos contributed by Jonathan Dowdell) to vote.  Another local favorite, Boulder Acoustic Society, is nominated in the same category so Colorado is definitely representin' in Americana folks!

Upcoming Colorado shows follow (but Spring Creek'll be at some festivals around California and Washington this spring and summer so stay tuned to the online calendars for updates).

See ya on the dance floor,
garian

I had to choose between Greensky and the Gold Hill Inn tonight (my favorite venue), but I had to go with Greensky at the Stage Stop.  But I will definitely be at the Spring Creek Stage Stop show on the 30th!!  It doesn't appear that Greensky is coming back anytime soon, and after I missed their show at Telluride (stupid alcohol), I have to see them!

Have fun everyone!  Cheers
