For those that don't know, Telluride now has their own homegrown brewery.  Brand new company long time local brewer.  They just won a World Beer Cup medal in Sand Diego and are currently canning as well as distributing around the 4 corners region.  Their beer is pouring in most places in town but you have to check out the Brewery in Lawson Hill near the campgrounds there on the ballfield.

Thursday afternoon at 430 there will be a party there with great music and a sampling of their line, 10 taps including Bridal Veil Pale Ale, Fish20 Double Ipa, and the Award winning Face Down Brown, among others.  You can bus or tube out there and back and can be back in time for John Prine on Thursday.  Definitely one of the hottest places and things happening in town outside of the Festival.

Look it up and check em out.

Also... if you are thirsty as you pass through Ridgway, don't forget to stop in for a beer at Colorado Boy. It is one of my favorite brewpubs in Colorado!  Always friendly, and they're working hard to make beer utilizing wind and solar power as much as possible.  Small scale brewing done right!
