Personally, I would not bring a little one to a festival in the first place.
Gotta say you are 100% wrong on this one FOM. We brought our first son when he was barely over a month old & that's where he learned to sleep through the night. Our 1st 2 kids first learned to walk on the grassy hill right outside the warming hut. All 3 of our kids have been there every year with us.
Is it easy? Not always. Do I not get to do all the things I would like too, sure. Do I get to do things I never would have otherwise and still have a great time? Absolutely. Are 95% of the people fantastic 99% of the time to the kids? Of course and of course there is the 5% that aren't. Are there times I wish I was there by myself instead? Never.
I do agree that ear protection is a must! We really like to use the orange silicone plugs that are in the hunting or swimming section. Haven't ever seen these smuffs before. Look interesting!
Not saying it's wrong for anyone to bring a very little one into a festival, just that I wouldn't.
It's ALWAYS a contentious topic to one degree or another on just about any message board; however, I was mostly taking a gentle swipe at the post being an unadulterated plug for a product (their first and only post) more than anything. Didn't mean to flame you or anyone who does bring their kids.
If the post had been a long list of various product, with the one mentioned being one of them, then it would at least had greater utility vs. just a pitch.
